Vinyl Siding Installation in Northern NJ
Affordable. Low-Maintenance. Properly Installed.
Premium vinyl siding installed with proper house wrap, flashing, and J-channel detail — color-fade warranty and expert seam placement.
Vinyl Siding Options
Not all vinyl siding is created equal. We work with quality manufacturers and install every profile correctly — with the insulation, fastening, and flashing that makes it last.
Lap Siding
The classic horizontal profile. Available in traditional and beaded styles with a wide range of colors. Works on virtually any home style and holds its look for 30+ years.
Vertical Panel Siding
Board-and-batten and vertical profiles that add architectural interest. Great for gable ends, accent sections, or full facades looking for a more contemporary look.
Shake & Shingle Profiles
Vinyl panels designed to mimic cedar shake or wood shingles — without the maintenance. Commonly used for dormer accents and upper-story sections.
Insulated Vinyl Siding
Foam-backed vinyl that improves the R-value of your wall assembly. Reduces energy costs, dampens outdoor noise, and holds its profile better than standard panels.
Double 4 & Dutch Lap
Wider exposure profiles that reduce the number of seams and give a cleaner, more upscale appearance. Popular choice for full re-sides on larger homes.
Soffit & Fascia
We complete the full exterior package — vinyl soffit for proper ventilation and aluminum-wrapped fascia boards for a clean, finished look around the roofline.
The Low-Maintenance Exterior That Holds Up
Vinyl doesn’t rot, doesn’t need painting, and doesn’t attract insects. In Northern NJ — with freeze-thaw cycles, nor’easters, and humid summers — that matters. A properly installed vinyl exterior can go 30–40 years with nothing more than an occasional wash.
The key word is “properly.” Vinyl that’s nailed too tight buckles in heat. Vinyl installed without housewrap lets moisture in. We do it right: correct fastening tension, proper overlap, full flashing at every window and door penetration, and continuous housewrap beneath.
As a CertainTeed SidingMaster Credentialed installer, we work with CertainTeed’s full vinyl portfolio — Monogram® for traditional clapboard look with ColorMax fade-resistant finish, CedarBoards™ for the deeper, insulated profile that mimics real cedar, and MainStreet® as a strong value-tier panel that still meets full warranty requirements. We pick the line based on your home, your budget, and the look you’re after — not whatever’s on the truck.
- No painting — ever. Color is baked in through the full panel.
- 30–40 year lifespan with proper installation
- Most affordable siding material per square foot
- Dozens of colors — matches any neighborhood or HOA spec
Why CertainTeed SidingMaster Credentials Matter for Your Vinyl
CertainTeed vinyl is what goes on most homes in Northern NJ. The credential matters because vinyl is also the siding material most often installed wrong — and the failures don’t show up for years. SidingMaster Credentialed means CertainTeed has signed off on our actual install work, panel by panel, against their own spec. Here’s the practical difference for you.
Trained on Every CertainTeed Vinyl Line
Monogram, CedarBoards, MainStreet, Encore — every CertainTeed vinyl line has its own panel profile, locking system, and recommended fastening pattern. SidingMaster training covers all of them, so we know which fastener depth and overlap detail belongs to the line you choose, not just generic vinyl best practices.
Spec-Driven Install on Every Wall
Vinyl that buckles, gaps, or pulls away in a few years almost always traces back to one of four install errors — over-tight nailing, wrong fastener position, missing housewrap detail, or sloppy J-channel work. Our SidingMaster training drills those four into every crew member, every job, so the wall stays flat and tight long after the install crew leaves.
Warranty That Actually Holds Up
CertainTeed vinyl carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty — but the fine print says it only stays valid when the panels were installed per spec. A SidingMaster Credentialed install is documented to meet that spec, so if a panel ever fails the manufacturer can’t deny the claim by pointing at installation. That protection is the difference between a warranty on paper and a warranty you can actually use.
SidingMaster status applies to our vinyl siding work specifically. For other exterior products — roofing, windows, doors, gutters, trim — we work with manufacturers like Owens Corning (where we hold Preferred Contractor status), James Hardie, LP SmartSide, ProVia, and Andersen.

Vinyl Siding FAQ
What homeowners ask before a vinyl siding project.
Yes — we’re CertainTeed SidingMaster Credentialed, which means CertainTeed has reviewed our vinyl installation work and confirmed it meets their workmanship standards. The credential is reserved for installers who complete factory training on the full CertainTeed vinyl line and pass real-world quality inspections. View our CertainTeed contractor profile.
Sometimes, but we don’t recommend it without inspecting what’s underneath. Installing over old siding hides moisture damage, adds bulk that can affect window and door trim, and skips the housewrap. We prefer to remove old siding, check the sheathing, and start clean.
We bring manufacturer color samples to your estimate so you can see options in real daylight against your trim, roof, and surroundings. Lighter colors show less dirt but fade more over time. Darker colors hold their appearance longer but absorb more heat.
Every vinyl siding job has its own timeline. Home size, story count, trim complexity, exposure conditions on tear-off day, and what we find under the existing siding all factor in. We give you a written schedule with start and finish dates at the estimate, then stick to it. Same crew start to finish — no juggling crews across unrelated jobs — so the work moves predictably from day one.
Standard vinyl siding has minimal R-value on its own. Insulated vinyl (foam-backed panels) adds meaningful thermal resistance and can noticeably reduce drafts and heating/cooling costs. We’ll discuss whether insulated panels make sense for your home during the estimate.
